THE OAKLAND PRESS: OLHSA offers free grant writing workshops for Pontiac nonprofits

The Oakland Livingston Human Services Agency is hosting free grant writing workshops this spring for nonprofits that serve Pontiac residents.

For new and established nonprofits, finding funding can be a challenge. Most grant processes are competitive and require in-depth proposals from nonprofits on what they would do with the funds.

The workshops, funded by the OU-Pontiac Initiative Community Impact Sponsorship Award, will focus on planning, developing and writing grant proposals. Thirteen other projects were funded by the sponsorship awards this year, which totaled $46,000.

The workshops take place on April 13 and May 18.

Registration can be found at surveymonkey.com/r/pontiacnpgrantwriting. For more information about the workshops, contact Elena Steele at elenas1@olhsa.org.
