OLHSA nominees win Michigan Community Action awards Posted: May 25, 2016

OLHSA is proud of its Michigan Community Action (MCA) award-winning nominees, Representative Tim Greimel for Legislator of the Year and Matthew Dziadosz for one of MCA’s volunteer awards. Representative Greimel has been a long-time supporter of OLHSA, joining us for events, board meetings, in Head Start classrooms and more. Representative Greimel was especially helpful establishing a funding source for OLHSA’s new deconstruction and blight removal program, Revive Pontiac. Matthew Dziadosz came to OLHSA for help while he was battling a life-threatening illness. OLHSA was able to help him with transportation to doctor’s appointments as well as utility assistance when bills started to pile up. Matthew now gives back to the agency through hours of data entry and recently assisted with OLHSA’s promotion of our Walk for Warmth fundraising campaign. Thanks for supporting OLHSA, Representative Greimel and Matthew!
