Utilizing DonorPages can maximize your Walk for Warmth impact Posted: February 12, 2013
OLHSA is excited to introduce a brand new way to participate in the Annual Walk for Warmth. Now personal registration, team registration and donations can be done online through our DonorPages program!
OLHSA is eager for our Walk participants to take advantage of this new online program and make it as easy as possible for our donors. That’s why we want to take this opportunity to explain the process and provide helpful tips on how to utilize your personal or team DonorPage to its full potential.
To begin registration, visit our Sign Up to Walk or Help page. After clicking on the corresponding event, you will be directed to the DonorPages homepage. This form has all the step-by-step instructions to guide you through the entire registration process.
After completing registration and forming a personal Walk for Warmth donation page, you can take it to the next level. You have the ability to personalize your page by posting photos, setting fundraising goals and telling people why raising funds for Walk for Warmth is important to you and how their support will make a difference. There are also options to promote your page to your friends and family by sending prepared emails and posting links to your social media sites. All of this can help maximize the amount of donations you bring in and the impact felt by those helped by Walk for Warmth.
OLHSA is thrilled to see the response to the DonorPages program so far and how many people are getting involved with the online process. As we look forward to our fast-approaching Oakland Walk, we hope to see even more of our participants taking advantage of this easy and beneficial program to raise funds and heat more homes this year.
